We provide telepsychology on a secure, confidential, HIPAA compliant platform. Additionally, we offer sliding scale rates for enrolled college and university students.

We accept cash, check, or credit card payments. You must pay at the time of your appointment. Yes, you are charged for appointments canceled less than 24-hours in advance. If you arrive late to your appointment, pro-rated discounts will not be granted.

We are considered an out-of-network provider because we do not sit on any insurance panels. You must pay at the end of each therapy session. We will assist you with submitting paperwork for insurance reimbursement.

You may contact us by email or phone to schedule a first appointment. Additionally, we encourage you to schedule a FREE, 15-minute phone consultation prior to your first paid appointment to ask questions and gather additional information about services and pricing.

During the intake assessment, we will ask you a series of questions including but not limited to your presenting concern(s), changes in mood or behavior, family history, social history, work and/or school history, substance use, sleeping habits, eating habits, and current coping strategies. Additionally, you are welcome to ask questions about services and treatment approach, professional background, or other details about the practice. It’s most important that you feel comfortable and safe during the first appointment, in order to establish a trusting relationship.

Typically, we will meet once/week. Based on presenting concerns, diagnosis, treatment plan, availability, and/or resources, we may decide to meet more or less frequently such as 2-3 times/week, every other week, or once a month. Similarly, the duration of treatment is tailored to meet your needs which may include several weeks, months, or years.

Yes. Therapy is most effective when you practice the insights and skills learned in between scheduled sessions. Assignments and activities are tailored according to therapy goals.

No, we do not prescribe medication because we are not medical doctors. Only a psychiatrist, primary care physician, or nurse practitioner can prescribe medication for mental health disorders. We can provide referrals, if we believe an assessment for medication is warranted.

A board-certified psychologist is recognized by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) for demonstrated competence in a specific area of practice. This achievement is based on additional education, training, and experience following a terminal degree and state licensure. Approximately 4% of all licensed psychologists in the United States are also board certified.
